Elite! Deluxe! Impeccably clean, very tastefully/artistically decorated. MichelinStar-type vegetarian breakfast cooked by multi-talented hostess Heather, aided by raconteur hubby Don. Delightful, professional, attentive, hospitable hosts. Very accommodating (got up at sparrow’s to cook us breakfast for an early departure on the next leg of our journey); served on plush deck with oveanview. Exceptional amenities: 2 beautiful adjacent gardens for guests, huge comfortable stylish bedroom, ample space, fridge/drawers/cupbrds stocked with free wine, tea/coffee, snacks, (bathroom drawer offered every item imaginable from razors to very personal toiletries; every need under the sun provided for. Secure premises & parking. Water’s Edge worth every cent! Incomparable on every level. We refuse to stay anywhere else!

Jenny met us on arrival and showed us around. Lovely to be shown the extras like bucket and spades for hot water beach. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and very well equipped.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Oceans 88. The location is great for walking over to the downtown area for shopping and restaurants. Our host was great, providing information about the area and making recommendations of where to eat. The little touches of a variety of coffees, teas, and milk was great (plus hot chocolate and candies). The pool and lake area were very nice and relaxing (towels were provided for use at the pool). The hosts also provided shovels for us to use at Hot Water Beach and advice about visiting it. We did not use it, but they have complimentary washer and dryer facilities available.

We loved everything about Crows nest, so much we have fitted in another trip during our north/south island tour in February/March. So confortable, clean, everything you need and a great location; Team were so helpful. We even got to see a dolphin from the balocny whilst we were having breakfast on the balcony

    Great location with free parking. Only an 18-min walk to the main town Centre, and right across the road from the beach. Generous sized-rooms with full kitchen facilities, and good shower pressure. Met Brad on arrival, who was very welcoming & friendly. Kindly upgraded us to an upstairs room (203), gave us some milk, and provided us with beach towels & a shovel for Hot Water Beach the next morning. Lovely stay - highly recommend!

    The apartment was absolutely beautiful with amazing facilities its was so comfortable with great full kitchen, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. The beds were comfortable and the power shower was excellent. It was spotlessly clean and right next to the beach and the town centre. Free parking for two cars in their underground car park. We stayed a few nights and one of the nicest places we stayed. The staff were also lovely and gave some great tips of places to go

    Ross was a very helpful host even before our arrival because I mixed up booking dates and he sorted it out. We also had an upgrade to a unit most convenient for us. The owner was friendly and informal. The motel is an older style, but clean and has essential stuff for a short stay. Walking distance to the town centre. The bed was very soft but comfortable for me. Car parking right outside the unit. Good value for money.
