They had done a really amazing job of updating it without losing the old world charm. Had a whole 2 bdrm cottage. Quite large and parking right next to it. Owners were darling couple who spoke a little English. Open their own beautiful to quests for a great breakfast and offered us port when we arrived. Gave us a lot of info on the area in a book they had prepared. They also recommended a wonderful restaurant in nearby town of Armamar called Fonte Nova. Working elevator so no need to carry luggage upstairs. Very spacious room, well heated, comfortable beds and pillows, quiet neighborhood - slept well. Please note to turn on hot water heater prior to showering (night before). Great breakfast. Hostess was the warmest/nicest lady we met on our entire trip!
