We stayed as a family with two children. Everything was just perfect and even more. House is freshly renovated and everything inside is new, very clean. Contact with the owner is outstanding, we did get all the answers to our questions immediately. Location of the house aslo is great, 15 min to airport and 20 min to Funchal. Nearby restaurant makes wonderful meals at a very affordable price. All around one of the best experiences we had! Definitely must book if it’s still available!

    Beautiful location, in the mountains and forests. Comfortable bed and great shower and bath. Easy check in and parking. Great to get away from the business of the city and to be close to nature and animals. Fresh bread on arrival was a treat and the peacocks and levada close by to walk along. Lovely sun in the morning in January until about 3:30-4pm in the garden to enjoy the warmth of the sun.

    Our stay was amazing. The owner is super nice and caring, he provided everything we need and even more (several bottles of wine 😄). The house is quite big for 4 people, the renovation and furniture were new, we had all the facilities we needed. The location is great for those who are with the car, we had own parking place in the yard. Just a couple of tips for improvement: it would be great to have a shower door or curtain and a drying rack.

    It was wonderful. The place was clean, we had a everything we nedeed for 7 days. The yard is so beautiful. The house has a history and it is a objectiv by itself. You will not regret if you choose to stay here. We had private space and time for relax. It is a parking lot for yourself. It is a perfect place for 2 couples. Filipe, the owner, is ready with all the information that you need. It is a supermarket at 500 m. and a traditional restaurant.

    perfect and easy communication with the manager Andre very attentive staff and personal approach (special thanks to Maria and Berta) comfy bed and pillows everyday cleaning amazing interiors and very nice overall atmosphere convenient parking easy access to all the main tourist attractions a pool is a big plus
