Wayne , the owner , is kind and goes out of his way to make your stay comfortable whether it is help with amenities at the property, advice on food options nearby or the tour options. I stayed La Casa the Castara for 11 nights and loved the place. There is a number of apparents to choose from, each one unique and full of character. I stayed in 2 bedroom apartment which was ideal in every way. Each bedroom had en suite bathroom and there was open plan lounge with well equipped kitchen. Outside there is a big balcony with outside place to eat or just sit and relax. I loved the beautiful views from the balcony on the village and sea as much as watching hummingbirds flying around and feeding themselves from hanging down feeders. The location of the property is very convenient as it is located in the centre of the village with short walk to the beach, ships and local restaurants. It made feel like I was a part of this beautiful, tranquil carabbean village. The Casa the Castara is a family run property and the owners Narine and Scott are wonderful hosts who made us very welcome. I would be definitely coming back

Prince was the perfect host and went out of his way to ensure that we made the most of our stay in Tobago. He helped with recommendations of what to see around the island, where to eat, car hire and helping sort out our transfers. The apartment was really clean and comfortable. The location is great overlooking the sea with some of the island's best restaurants in walking distance (Seahorse Inn and Fish Pot). We loved swimming in the pool while looking out over the ocean. It was great to stay within the community in a friendly family-owned guesthouse rather than a big anonymous hotel. I really hope to come back to Tobago and stay here again.
