GermanyKilwa Beach Lodge is the only hotel on about 2km of beach. At low tide you can walk about 500m up to the water. At high tide the level of water is just perfect for bathing, especially if you are not a strong swimmer. The little houses are directly on the beach. For lunch and dinner a 3-course menu is suggested to you and you can add or replace parts of it. The food is excellent.
The lodge can organize trips to the ruins or for snorkling or diving. We had a really good time.
