The staff really made my stay phenomenal! It was the best holiday I’ve ever had. Everyone was kind, compassionate, generous and always willing to assist. Everything was great. The location, the room, the pool, the breakfast. In our two months in Zanzibar we’ve been all over the island and this is truly one of the best places we’ve been to. the staff is very involved, which means that the accommodation is well maintained and everything runs smoothly. Hope it stays that way, so I can come back some day! They have lovely dogs too by the way :)

The room was really cosy with a Modern Boho style. It was cleaned twice a day by the housekeeping staff. It was always maintained clean and fresh. The staff were extremely nice and hospitable. They were always friendly and nice to us. The food was perfect, during dinner there were live entertainment shows that were perfect. The restaurant manager was always checking on us making sure everything is up to order and perfect making our stay memorable.

Ycona was easy to locate once we got to Marumbi. The resort itself was absolutely stunning! We arrived in the evening when the sun was setting which gave us the perfect welcome with a breathtaking view of our pool side and beach front.

It’s Kids friendly, they have variety of facilities, the pool is amazing, they have rooms with private pools. Everything in the facility is brand new and state of the art. The plantation around the facility makes the walkways unbelievable. The staff are super friendly and are working around the clock. There is Nannie’s to look after the kids with reasonable price and they are trustworthy. The staff are neat and clean. The place is constantly decorated, the furniture in the rooms are outstanding. They have lots of variety when it comes to food. And they can designate the chef to cater for your need of what you like to eat, especially if it’s not inclusive in the buffet. The recreational facility arranges all type of tours such as Safaris, quart riding, going to the turtles, snookling, horse riding in the beach, kayaking, and many many more. There is an also a facility of being massaged by the beach.
