Our circular Hut room was surprisingly very spacious and comfortable. The view from the dining room deck is one the best I experienced in all my travels overlooking Mt Meru. As a bonus the location is just off the main route from Arusha to the major wildlife parks.

My partner and I stayed here before our safari and I can’t rate it highly enough. Lovely swimming pool, incredibly friendly owners, gorgeous dogs and we kindly had a homemade dinner made for us which was delicious. Will be back in the future :)

Mina Chai is an exceptional budget option for travellers. We stayed for a couple of nights and were looking for a quiet place to stay, equally far away from the city centre and airport. What amazed us was the incredibly kind and helpful staff - Lucy took time out of her own schedule to travel with us to the city, show us around and organize everything we needed, including transfers. She even cooked us an amazing lunch when requested! The room was small but cozy and we felt welcome throughout the entire stay. Would definitely recommend Mina Chai for travellers looking for an intimate “guest-house” experience with attentive and generous staff!
