Avila La Fonda is a true gem on the West Coast. From the moment we arrived to the moment we reluctantly checked out, we were enveloped in a haven of comfort and warm hospitality. The accommodations at Avila La Fonda were fabulous. Our suite was beautifully decorated and the complimentary wine and delicious homemade pie created an inviting and cozy atmosphere that made it difficult to leave. I wholeheartedly recommend this lovely hotel to anyone seeking a memorable and rejuvenating getaway. We only planned for one overnight stay in our 3 week road trip but in hindsight we'd plan to stay longer next time!

Exceptional property at a lovely, laid back beach town. The staff were the friendliest and most helpful that we encountered in California. We loved that we could borrow beach chairs and equipment and our kids loved the pool. It was the perfect place for some R&R on our road trip. The rooms were big and comfortable and I would highly recommend going for a sea view suite. The quality of the food at breakfast was also very high. The range on offer was a bit more limited than at some of the other hotels we stayed at but that was no problem for us.

I liked that our room had a fireplace. Huge bathtub, however would of been difficult to get into if you couldn't climb over and into it.

I highly recommend the Inn at the Cove if you're doing the Pacific Coast Highway and looking for a stop before LA. The natural surroundings are stunning, with a private rocky beach to explore and plenty of wildlife, including beautiful birds. It's incredibly relaxing! The pool and jacuzzi were great, and breakfast was plentiful—just what you need to start the day. Nearby, there's an In-N-Out and Walmart, which made meals and shopping super convenient. The town itself is charming, and everything about our stay was perfect. The room was spacious and comfortable.

    Quaint, quiet, beautiful, and clean. We loved it,right off the trail and walked down to the beach! Excellent room, convenient parking and good coffee and snacks right there in the village. Ee drove to Vista for dinner, not far, highly recommended! We will return soon! Thank you!!!

    In the evening they had a freezer with ice cream and some little pies that were delicious! The staff were incredibly friendly and the waterfall made the experience more relaxing. I also appreciated that the parking with in their courtyard.

    Location, staff was excellent! Room was comfortable/clean. Free Breakfast was delicious as was the dessert of pie at night up on the sun deck! Property is older and perhaps needs a bit updating in areas. Parking was good except some people took up 2 spots so a bit cozy. Overall would stay again!

    Beautiful quirky hotel right on the sea. Loads of street parking, and also can park within hotel premises. Excellent location, 2 minute walk to local bars restaurants and beach front. Easy access of highway. Easy going and relaxed hotel vibe, very enjoyable stay. Roof top terrace for breakfast and late evening is amazing. Very clean room and comfy beds etc.
