The motel is just a 5-min leisurely stroll to the beach and for those who prefer a pool - it's right there. The Black Dog cafe - right next to Motel - offers a great choice of breakfast and for those who want refreshing cocktails, a beer and a nice meal - go for "The Shipwrecked" right at the beach. Everything is conveniently located and to be reached on foot, including the ferry to Martha's Vineyard. I can highly recommend this place. There is free coffee at the reception between 8 and 10am! Us and our children wished we would have stayed longer.

This was a great spot, run by absolute pro Jeanette. She was super patient with a card issue during booking, and when we got there the house was truly lovely, just the cosy inn we were looking for. Getting breakfast was great, and being able to have free tea and coffee whenever we liked in the room was brill - not too common in America ! The best thing by far was the gorgeous bicycles for going up and down the Shining Sea path which backs onto the property!

We were looking forward to staying here as it looked like a real retro motel like something from a movie. It's not modern but it suits the style perfectly. The room was very clean and comfortable with a good-sized bed and aircon. It's in a great location beside everything you need in Falmouth. The lady in the office was very helpful and welcoming on our arrival, and checking in early was no problem.

My son is in MMA and we met him on Jan. Last year we spent a couple of days in a Hotel at Buzzards Bay. We try something different and we went to Falmouth. A really nice surprise, good and beautiful hotel. Breakfast: súper nice. 2 thumbs up.

    The staff were really friendly and helpful. They let us use their car park after we'd checked out so we didn't have to pay for ferry parking (they weren't full that evening so said they had a spare parking space), gave us aloe vera aftersun when we got burnt and helped with a phone problem!

    I think comfort height toilets are really needed for older guests and bottom step from staircase to parking lot needs yellow cautious paint strip to let you know their is one more step off!!!

    Great location. Lady at the front desk was super personable and offered the use of their parking lot if we chose to bike out of Falmouth. Loved the proximity to the bike path and the fact that we could walk to dinner and breakfast; super convenient and added to the experience. Liked the convenient parking also. And let's not forget the bed--very comfortable with crisp clean linens and lots of fluffy pillows.

    The location was perfect! we were able to walk to the Ferry and restaurants around town. Safe and beautiful area. We also asked to leave our car in the parking lot so we could walk to and from the ferry at the end of our stay and they let us do it, which was great, so we didn't have to deal with parking and was able to enjoy Martha's Vineyard all day!

    our room was right in front of the ocean. we absolutely loved it. the marina is on the other side where the parking lot is. the restaurants were 3 min away from the hotel. and it’s pet friendly so that’s always a plus for me.
