It seems like a new place. The facility is outstanding, the room was wonderful and the bed was soft. Lots of fast food and some restaurants around the hotel. It's a good place to stay if you are traveling South on 49 to the Gulf Coast. FYI: It's pet friendly.

I had an incredible stay at the Old Capitol Inn! The hotel is absolutely charming, with a wonderful mix of historic character and modern comfort. My room was spacious, beautifully furnished, and extremely comfortable — I slept better than I have in a long time. The staff truly made the experience even better. They were kind, welcoming, and offered great suggestions for dinner nearby, which turned out to be absolutely stunning in both food and atmosphere. The location is perfect for exploring downtown Jackson and soaking in the city’s rich history. Parking was simple and convenient, which made everything even easier. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better stay. I will absolutely stay here again on my next visit to Jackson!

The food was absolutely amazing, may be a little over priced. The staff was very friendly. I think the managers name was Carl and he was very friendly when we walked in the room was a great size and very clean. The shower was absolutely amazing. Overall great vibe.

The beds were very comfortable, the bathroom was very clean, the indoor pool was a nice size and heated ( we loved that). The hot breakfast was really good. And the staff was phenomenal. Probably the best hotel I've stayed in
