Close to Long Beach for food and shops. A 15 or 20 minute easy drive to Astoria. Also close to Beards Hollow where you can hike or drive right into the beach. And the Cape Disappointment lighthouse. It's really well appointed and the bed was really comfortable. The period decorations are well done but the house has modern amenities. Will definitely come back. We were able to access the headland walk for Cape Disappointment and Discovery Trail directly from the hotel. Plenty of parking opposite and interesting to see a working port with boat repair facilities. The only downside was the fact that due to staff shortages the pub for dining options is closed two nights a week.
