This was a last minute booking, due to a change in our journey through Oregon. And what a lucky day when we did! This place is so beautiful, the setting is stunning, the room was perfect, Erin and the team were outstanding. The inn has private access to the beach and a terraced garden with wonderful views. You can enjoy a glass(or two) of complimentary local wine and just relax, breathe and really enjoy yourself. We had a fab walk to the Umpqua lighthouse after a great breakfast and checked out feeling this was a real highlight of our trip

    It is a newly renovated hotel on the beach in Newport and was a perfect stay for 2 couples traveling the Oregon coast. All rooms were ocean view with small balconies. Each one had 2 chairs and a table. The room provided free snacks and water, a fireplace and filtered water for the coffee make. Even binoculars. There is no free breakfast but a food truck in the parking lot that sells wonderful brioche breakfast sandwiches and also sides such as eggs and bacon.

    Beautiful view of the beach! The whaler provided excellent binoculars to take in all the view, which was also optional to purchase. Excellent location to the beach, restaurants, and the farmers market — it was a typical walking distance for us (20mins more or less). There’s no complementary breakfast but there is a breakfast sandwiches order/pick up option in the parking lot.

    People were selling drugs at the building, and there were people in their cars smoking out of a bong. I had the pleasure of listening to people have sex for about 10 minutes. The walls were super thin. Walking out to my car was like interrupting a parking lot party.
