Location great for a visit to Joshua Tree NP, super friendly staff, cool saloon (Red Dog) just across the street for tacos and margaritas. Great outdoor space as well with chairs and hammocks for watching stars at night. Felt very safe travelling on my own there!

Our host,Jenn was incredibly accommodating and helpful. The facilities were top-notch, very clean, and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The bedding was super comfortable, and the hot tub under the stars was simply amazing.

    I've read a whole bunch of reviews complaining about the fact that this motel is basic, but I can't help but feel that's the point. The room was basic but charming. The toiletries of great quality, water pressure brilliant, wifi solid. Parking super easy. Check in experience and staff faultless. No TV in the room but I kind of think that's nice.

    The location is next to an original filmset for cowboy movies. The rooms are spacious, you can get coffee in one of the rooms which functions as a pantry. Easy parking. Great environment and great surroundings. Super hiking possibilities. Close to some restaurants and small towns to get your supplies and do some shopping. Some really nice vintage and fashion stores.
