We chose the La Quinta by Wyndham St. Albans for its location -- we were coming to view the April 8 2024 total solar eclipse and the hotel, with its generous parking areas and broad expanses of lawn provided us with an excellent place to view the eclipse, while able to to walk from our room to the viewing area without needing to use our car for the entire two nights and busy eclipse day. Absolutely wonderful (and the eclipse was spectacular as well).

Inn at Buck Hollow Farm has a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, garden, a shared lounge and terrace in Fairfax.

A very comfortable & relaxed stay. Very welcoming hosts who gave lots of info re local area & where to eat etc. Breakfasts were very good!

John and Aida were wonderfully welcoming and had a lovely chat with John about the charity work they do for Angels In Honduras. A great stay all round, good breakfast, very comfortable rooms and great location.

Beautifully preserved historic building. Owner is an absolute delight and very happy to chat, offer suggesitons on places to do or talk about the history of the building. Exceptional breakfast that changes daily.
