Carol's place is amazing and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. There's a well-equipped kitchen (with coffee and tea provided), the bathroom is properly sized, and the bed is comfy. Her welcome was very nice, and Carol even provided a US power adapter since I forgot to bring mine with me. The property is not situated centrally, but you can catch a bus/metro/uber to get anywhere you want. Wynwood Walls for example are around 25 minutes by foot, first Metromover station in around 1 hour (yeah, I just like walking, and I managed to here as well). All in all, highly recommended for a calm home-like stay outside downtown. There's some occasional plane noise, but it wasn't bothering me much.
