Young Adventurous Couple: Spanish and Belgian Authentic Experience Summer truly exceeds her guests’ expectations, living up to every positive review. Exceptional Host Even before our arrival, Summer offered advice on traveling from Ho Chi Minh City to Ben Tre. She welcomed us warmly, introduced her home and the region, and recommended organized day tours. Renting bikes and motorbikes from her was incredibly convenient. Unforgettable Highlights Our favorite activity was the Tour around the Mekong N2. For about 1,000,000 VND for two, the tour included a boat driver and guide. We explored coconut plantations, local workshops, charming villages, and the Mekong’s canals. The four-hour tour was filled with smiles and unforgettable moments. Comfortable Accommodation Le Mekong Bleu is beautiful, clean, and well-equipped. Our air-conditioned room was comfortable, and we loved relaxing in the cozy living room where we played Summer's guitar and chatted with Summer. Delicious Breakfast Breakfast was a delight, especially the noodle soup—it was one of the best we’ve had in South Vietnam! The fresh ingredients and rich flavors made the morning very special while we had a wonderful chat with the other guests. Heartfelt Thanks Thank you, Summer! Our stay in Ben Tre was wonderful thanks to your hospitality, lovely home, and great recommendations. Highly Recommended We highly recommend Le Mekong Bleu for anyone seeking an authentic local experience. The homestay is in a peaceful village, on the Mekong River bankside, the family is really nice and rooms look as on the photos. You definitely have to try their ginger chicken and lemongrass chicken! We could take bikes and explore the neighbourhood. The cruise was also great! The nearest ATM is 10km away, so bring cash

This accommodation is in a wonderful area and yet not far from the city. I chose this place to explore the Vietnamese countryside either by bicycle or on foot. I didn't expect the owner to be so friendly. He rode his bike with me around the area and in very good English explained a lot of things to me about life and work in the countryside, etc., it was amazing. He even took me to hang out with his friends in town. There is a dense network of roads and paths in the area, which can be explored for several days. Bicycles are in serviceable condition, but don't expect to shift gears, after all, it's flat there. When I was riding my bicycle, the dogs sometimes barked, but they didn't chase me. Surprisingly there were almost no mosquitoes, not even in the evening, I saw about 4 of them during my stay, but I didn't get bitten, I think it's because the salt water comes into the delta at high tide.

We had 1 day to get into nature, recharge and then get back to the city, and we were so lucky to find this place. Everyone was so kind, helpful and really nice - the kindest experience I have had in Vietnam so far. Food is amazing, adjusted to our diets, beautiful area, super well maintained space, nature, pool, resting spaces. We had sunset cruise, massage, bicycle trip, great food, super rest. Thank you so so much for this instant recharge by the beautiful Mekhong river. 🙏🏼🙏🏼

It’s a beautiful, idyllic place where you can completely rewind. Surrounded by lots of greenery, it’s just right if you want to spend some time outside of busy city. I don't know if you know the feeling when you're on your way from one place to the next and only have to make a stopover to meet the basic needs: eat, shower, chill a bit, sleep, a taxi at an unspeakably early time and especially someone who will help you through all of this even though you don't speak a word of Vietnamese. We found so much more in the Hideaway Bungalows: the best homemade pho I have ever eaten, very authentic, large huts with a beautiful outdoor bath area, a panorama window in the middle of the most beautiful jungle with jungle sounds, a host who even later in the evening helped with concerns (vegan breakfast or ordering a taxi early in the morning). And all this in a wonderfully rural area, where you get to know a lot of people and are still connected to the city 24/7. Together they guided me to the right bus station and it was only on the bus that I really realized how lucky I was to have found this place.
