Staying at Nguyễn’s, or Jenny (how she introduces herself to the tourists for an easier communication) was the absolute best way of ending our 4 weeks trip in the South of Vietnam. We were at their beautiful farm for a few nights, and we wished we had more time. Where should I start? Jenny is friendly, relaxed and has a good sense of humor. She makes you feel like part of her family, while giving you your own space too. I really liked her mother as well. While we couldn’t communicate as I don’t speak Vietnamese and she doesn’t really speak English, we would smile and talk through signs. We had amazing food cooked by her and we could feel her warmth in her approach to us. We loved everything from the coffee ‘lessons’ and stories, to the beautiful views from our room, to our walks and talks with Jenny. There was a lot of laughter but also a few profound discussions about life which we really enjoyed. We visited places together, she also helped us rent a motorbike for a day and arranged lots of things for us, including a trip to Dalat and suggestions on where we can chase sunrise clouds by ourselves and helping me order a traditional hat that we brought back to the Netherlands and which I absolutely love. Her husband is also very nice and their son an absolute gem! When we got back home, one of the first people I texted was Jenny, to let her know we arrived safely and that a jar with some Vietnamese goodies had survived the flight. It’s been two months since our trip (we stayed there during the second part of February) and we miss the family and the farm dearly. I hope we can return soon. Thank you so much, Nguyễn!! Staying at Midori Coffee Farm was like staying at a tranquil simple retreat. I felt recharged after the stay. I enjoyed practicing yoga and meditation on the terrace at sunrise. (Tip: take the mat from cafe the night before) I love my afternoon walks with the friendly dogs. They brought me to their walking trail in the pine forest. Chatting and sharing stories/experiences over dinner with Huy and his assistant was enjoyable. It’s an easy 40mins by local bus from Hoa Binh Theatre to Me Ling Coffee where Huy picked me up on the motorcycle. (The red bus is better than the green one. The green bus charged me 30VN instead of 20.) The room I stayed in shared the same balcony with the adjacent room. I was lucky to have the space to myself for first night. The couple who arrived after was quiet, respected privacy and conscious about sharing the balcony. Having done 3 coffee tours in various countries previously, Huy’s tour is the best. I learnt a lot about organic farming, differences between beans/varieties, washing methods, drying, roasting and appreciation for organic beans. Highly recommended it.

Situated on a quiet street on the outer skirts of the town you will find the ivy farm. The friendly couple has build this place by themselves and put a lot of care in to every detail of it. The house is very clean and nicely decorated. The bed is comfortable and the view in the morning quite nice. Make sure to try their coffee and food that they offer. Their coffee is grown with an organic philosophy in mind and the food is Traditional and locally-sourced Vietnamese cuisine. The farm is located South of Da Lat. There are some waterfalls to visit that can be reached by motorbike. But it is also worth staying here for a day or two if you have a good book in your suite case and hang out with the dog and two cats. Ivy farm is a great place for anyone who would like to discover the countryside around da lat without stepping too much on the beaten paths of the main touristic areas. It is a real farm house, so naturally there may be some bugs and mosquitos here but there were not too many in our experience. If you are lucky you might meet a local frog or snail in your house after rain. We had a great time here and highly recommend it for travellers and coffee lovers alike.

The location was very beautiful as described in googlemap. English is not available but you can use google translation to communicate. They offer free breakfast. Also you can ask laundry service. Please don't forget to use pesticide for bug inside the room. There are loooooots of bugs. But after using pesticide it became very chilling room. The shower is very warm which I didn't expect in this place. Seems threre are few foreign reviews since COVID-19 but this is very nice place I can assure you. めちゃくちゃ綺麗でいい場所です。自然が綺麗で癒される

Stay here if you’re in the area!! The rooms are super clean and comfortable. The gardens - omg the gardens!! They are so beautiful and zen. We spent a lot of time walking round them and relaxing. Really really lovely. The pool looks nice as well although we didn’t use it much as it was raining. We stayed in a room but if we come back to the area would stay in one of their apartments. We were shown round after we booked and they look really nice. Very new. The staff are lovely, really helpful - there’s a super helpful lady who speaks English and helped us get a taxi etc.

A lovely, quiet place to relax. We started our cycling trip from here, and returned again after the wind chased us down from the north. Beautiful views of the valley, wonderful service and clean, comfortable room. Delicious dinners and breakfast. Highly recommended for a relaxing stay.
