Honestly staying here was the best spontaneous choice I made. I was greeted nicely after a long journey by Nam who speaks very good English. The dormitory is great, simple traditional homestay with a bed and mosquito net, plus phone charger and fan! In the evening he invited me for food with his family and he catered for me being vegetarian :) we ate well, and we drank A LOT (optional) of traditional rice whiskey which was a great time. Overall a great place made my trip to ha giang worth it. I didn't explore the nature but it looks amazing

Nice nature amidst the rice fields, practical and comfortable bungalows. Giang and his family are great hosts: we had a nice dinner with them and other guests and we enjoyed it very much!

we absolutely loved staying with Dai and his family. we stayed in a bungalow and were treated to an amazing meal with the family and other guests followed by entertainment from a local dance group. Lots of rice wine was encouraged and a little karaoke to top the night off. Dai took us on a boat ride to watch the sunset over Thac Ba Lake - stunning!

This is a great stop if you would like to break up your travel from Hanoi to Ha Giang. The facilities are clean, very important to me, and the location is a perfect halfway between cities. Family members are well versed in a few languages making communication very easy. Please take part in the family dinner offered. Stayed here while on route from Sapa to Hanoi. It is located in a mountainous area (great clean air), just outside Yen Bai city. It uses clean energy and has good filtered drinking water! It is more than just a clean and comfortable place to stay, it is an experience that we will forever cherish. Phuong, the host, is very hospitable and had made us feel right at home. He took us for a little tour around his compound which is breathtaking and the environment is so relaxing and calming. There were many plants and beautiful flowers lovingly cared for by his wife, Ai, who is also an excellent cook. She cooked us a delicious meal with fresh organic salad vegetables coming from their garden. What a treat! We had one of the most restful sleep here as the bed is so comfortable, it is also equipped with an electric heating pad should you need one during the cold season although we didn’t use whilst there. Everything you need in a comfortable stay is all provided for. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip. Wished we could stay longer and take Phuong’s hiking tour to view the Thac ba lake but time wasn’t on our side. We also enjoyed very much talking about anything and everything and we learnt much about Vietnam’s history from him too. Definitely a must stay if you are in the area.
