The pizza and pasta day is a good idea, the pizza is very good as if we were eating it in Italy.Very helpful, kind and always smiling staff, the waiters are excellent and quick to serve. Built in 1853 and right on the picturesque Fürstenweg, a small path leading to Neuschwanstein Castle, Gutshof zum Schluxen enjoys a quiet location in the middle of fields with grazing cows and horses, and Queen Marie von Bayern stayed here with her sons Ludwig and Otto. Füssen and Reutte are only a 10-minute drive away.

Gutshof zum Schluxen also offers free parking, and free WiFi access. Beautiful location, very easy to access from Füssen just over the boarder, nice tidy clean room inside a traditional converted farmhouse. Love the animals (horses, goats) all around the property in the fields. Very quiet and comfortable. They even have free massage chairs to use in a spa room, we didn’t use the sauna or jet jacuzzi style baths (the weather was hot) but I’m sure they are also good! Nice and quiet, good nights sleep.

Free WiFi is available in all rooms and public areas. Ideal location - easy access to both main castles. Free parking for hotel guests. The room was a normal size and I can't expect more. Varied breakfast.

Our room was really spacious with a nice balcony with a view over the mountains. The bedroom was small but comfortable with a tv and large wardrobe. The living room was very spacious with a kitchen and dining table, sofa and a second tv. The apartment is well decorated and modern. What I also liked was the little deli in the entrance of the residence where you can purchase drinks, cheese, fruits, eggs, homemade cakes and more. They use a honesty box where you can put the money in which is very convenient if you need anything or to buy some local products. We wished we could have stayed longer!
