The owner was extremely kind and generous and it made our stay even more comfortable as it had a warm, welcoming, friendly atmosphere everytime she was around. She went above and beyond for us and we are very grateful and appreciative of her hard efforts aswell as the friendly hard working staff who also help to maintain and make Edelweiss the special and unique inn it is for everybody staying or visiting there! This is a beautiful house and full of amazing artefacts, memorabilia and beautiful pottery which was made by the host Kevin. The house is spotless, tastefully decorated and has all amenities required for an enjoyable stay and is only a short walk to the center of town. Kevin and Lesley make you feel right at home and almost part of the family and go the extra mile to make your stay enjoyable. They provide a delicious breakfast, all homemade and even share their family recipes with you. Breakfast time is very enjoyable and not rushed as Kevin and Lesley take time to engage with all the guests and the conversation flows. Kevin is very knowledgeable of the history of the surrounding area and with recommendations for thing to do all over Nova Scotia. I would highly recommend a stay at the Lark and Loon.
