Set in Nature, Designed for Comfort. Discover Vancouver Island’s most awe-inspiring oceanfront retreat. I planned to Stay in a house or Cabin, not a Complex, but Black Rock beat me. Unbelievable View and You feel full privacy in a huge Complex. We had a trail Studio, with full amenities (full kitchen and kitchenettes ) and it has a great view from the room. super Calm and quiet. Helpfull staff. Never forget our stay , highly recommended.

Julia the host was very friendly, she even called and messaged us when she discovered a bag that we had left behind after checking out. Julia had thought of most things one could need. The accommodation consisted of bedroom, lounge/diner and bathroom. Everything was very clean, coffee/tea making facilities, cups etc in lounge. Large TV in lounge, large desk at end of bed. Bed lovely and comfortable. Welcome pastries and milk were found in the fridge. Welcome messages and card signed by all the family found in the lounge. Thank you Julia and family for making us feel most welcome.

The place is very comfortable and welcoming, all the equipment is of good quality. Sean and Daya are kind and respectful, available to answer questions or help, yet respecting privacy. There are plenty of trails/hikes around to go explore, and the coast is close with many villages/towns. I really enjoyed my stay here and would recommend it without a doubt!
