Incredible panoramic views, perfect location and helpful staff. The room we stayed in was very large and had a huge panoramic window with a beautiful view of the mountains, it was so fantastic! The location is about 15-20 minutes from the city center by taxi (I would not recommend walking), but taxis (at least if you use the app) are cheap and the city was not our goal. Our goal was a 10 minute walk from the hotel through beautiful places: the station where the bamboo rafting starts and the rice fields you need to cross to get to the station. The sink is outside the bathroom (i.e. in the room), I find this convenient because you have access to it when the bathroom is occupied.

The young man running the accommodation was very helpful and shared some local information regarding bikeing in the area. Our room was large with a nice balcony and a relaxing garden area for relazing in. We would stay here again if in the area.

I’ve been traveling around China for 5 months and this was my most memorable stay thanks to the lovely people. They really went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and make it an enjoyable travel experience, from helping book tours to always being happy to chat. Bonus is the hotel connects to a running/biking trail (also leads straight to Reed Flute Cave) and the location is very convenient.

Set just about a 5-minute drive from Reed Flute Cave, 2 km from the centre of Guilin City, The Beyond Villa Guilin Boutique Hotel sits close to Taohua River and is surrounded by greenery and silence... 朝起きたときの景色がとても素晴らしく、大満足でした。夜ご飯は、近くのお店を案内していただき、そのお店も安くて美味しく、店内の雰囲気もとても良かったです。朝ご飯を注文していましたが、急遽予定が早まり、時間に間に合わなさそうだと伝えたところ、サンドイッチを包んで持たせてくださいました。また、困ったことがあった際に教えていただいたWeChatで連絡すると、すぐに対応していただきました。おかげさまで、とても満足のいく旅になりました。ありがとうございました。

Located in Yangshuo, The Bamboo Leaf Yangshuo offers a seasonal outdoor swimming pool. This was the best hotel in China we have stayed in. You can see that the staff is very motivated and does their best to let you have a great time. They arranged great tours for us and gave us valuable information about what we should do. The rooms were fantastic, large and modern. Very clean as well, nothing to complain about. Breakfast was also awesome, great western options - also the restaurant was a rescue for us because in Yangshuo you can’t find any western food except McDonald’s. We would definitely recommend this property to everyone!

Sugarhouse also has several fun activities to choose from such as rock climbing (in the hotel premise), syrup making, candle making - making the stay super special!
