Housed in an elegant white building, Kaiyue Hotel Qingdao used to be a historical Christian church. Located in the centre of the ancient town, the property is a 15-minute walk from many famous tourist sites such as Zhan Bridge and Signal Hill Park. It is a 10-minute walk to Zhongshan Shopping Street and Pichaiyuan. The staff were so helpful, from messaging us before we arrived, to talking to our taxi driver to give directions. They were very friendly and all of them spoke at least basic English. The location is also superb, within easy walking distance of the beach/pier and Zhongshan Road, and surrounded by lots of places to eat. Comfortable, clean and warm rooms.
