The room is cosy, comfortable and clean, I slept really well. Not far from the hotel is a little night market where you can eat great food. The hotel is family owned and they helped me so much to make my stay great and visit Xishuangbanna. The service and the help were exceptional!

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Verdant House. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and cared for. The host and staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely invested in making my stay memorable. Every detail, from the beautiful interiors to the thoughtfully curated amenities, reflected a level of care and design that made the space feel both luxurious and homey. The rooms are impeccably clean and stylish, with a perfect blend of modern comfort and character. I especially loved the peaceful garden views and the serene ambiance throughout the property. It’s clear that Verdant House is not just a place to stay—it’s an experience in itself. Location-wise, it’s ideal! It tucked away enough to feel like a retreat, yet still close to everything you might want to explore. I only wish I could have stayed longer. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a restful, elevated escape. Can’t wait to return!

The location is perfect and there is a Starbucks and Luckin Coffee just 2 minutes away, it's in the middle of the touristic area, yet once in the hotel it feels calm. The pool is open 24/7, and there’s a foot massage place next door. they even have a rooftop with a mahjong table. Staff spoke English, which was super helpful. As a foreigner it's a good place to stay, they paid attention to details in the room too with daily cleaning and service.

Extremely helpful and kind hotel staff, we don't know Chinese and we didn't have WeChat etc., so without their help (ordering taxi, giving us directions to the spots we wanted to visit etc.) we would face many problems. Also the King Size bed was EXTREMELY big and comfortable. Hotel provided us with free water every day and booked us a taxi to the airport for free. Location is also a plus. Recommending this place!
