All this in a great position to explore by car the beautiful nearby beaches & Nauyaca waterfalls, which is next door. Norem, Esteban and Valeria made us feel at home right away and went out of their way to accommodate us. Breakfast and dinner (with the hummingbirds around) were delicious, prepared to the point and with several dishes to choose from. The cabins are all new, very well designed and furnished, the bathroom with steady and immediate hot and cold water supply. A garden with a small trail are in the making and will make spending time in the crisp and clean mountain air even more worthwhile. We can highly recommend Curuba Lodge which became our favorite place in Costa Rica! Tip: Esteban can connect you with a few guides to see the rare and iconic Quetzal birds.

The view from the rooftop was amazing. The apartment was very clean, cosy and comfortable. It was well stocked with all required amenities/equipment. We were very sad that we stayed here only for a short night because we didn’t get to try the pool/other amenities but everything looked great.
