This was a new hotel for us and it was an amazing find. The hotel was very clean, the room was larger than expected, the bathroom and shower were great. The breakfast was the best we had on our entire trip. Breakfast was exceptional, amazingly wonderful and so very delicious. We talked about this hotel every day on our Christmas Market Trip. I'd like to go back to Erfurt just to stay here! And yes, the staff were so friendly and helpful. If you're nervous about not staying at a chain or trying something new...take a chance, you'll be glad you did!

Located at the foot of the Wartburg mountain in the city of Eisenach, this elegant 4-star hotel features a beautiful Art Nouveau façade with a colourful, modern interior design. Wonderful place for lodging, spacious room, bathroom, good furnitures;big desk, chairs and extra big sofa. Home made quality breakfast and beautiful dining room.

Absolutely superb breakfast service (11/10)! Newly renovated from the ground up. WiFi works fine. Supermarket just across the street. Perfect location for a lot of hiking. Easily reachable by car as well as public transport. Despite this being an active railway station, the trains didn't bother me sound wise. With the windows closed, sound isolation was extremely good, and even sleeping with the window open was OK (I will add that my room was on the street side of the building, however).

Lots of space, comfy bed, very clean. Lovely bakery just three minutes away. Quiet street, with tram line going to the city center just around the corner. Easy to find, easy and fast communication with the owners.

After spending one night there, we immediately booked two more. The place was sparkling clean and very thoughtfully prepared. All the small details showed how much the owner truly cares about the property and the guests. It was also very sweet to have a little chat with the owner. The house is located in a peaceful area, just a 10–15 minute drive from many points of interest (parks, baths, castles). I highly encourage you to spend your weekend here!

(looks a little like it has grown on the hill). A little bit away from the city center but in 10 min walking distance you can easily catch the tram. The living room- kitchen is very big. Own parking spot is good but when your car is a little wider you should be well able to park your car :)
