On our way back to our home in Southern Spain, a late ferry in Santander meant we needed an overnight stop with 2 dogs. Booking.com to the rescue, finding this gem at such a reasonable price. We were blown away by the luxurious spacious rooms and public areas. Clearly a lot of money has been spent on getting it to this standard and maintaining it. The staff were very friendly and made welcome our dogs, and even brought them some water in the restaurant/bar area. The location itself was very picturesque though as it was raining we didn't explore. Though it was late they prepared an evening meal for us (about 0930pm), and breakfast the following morning was really nice with plenty of choice. The dining area itself is spacious which allowed us to keep our over excited Tzih Zhus out of mischief though there were no other pets at the time!

The loft was super clean and tidy, and the stove was lit when we arrived. We were delighted about this as the weather was very cold. Lourdes cooked us a 3 course meal, which was tasty. We would recommend this unique spot to everyone who is in the area.

Ideal for larger family / group of friends who can take all of the house (4 bedrooms I think). 2 balconies directly overlooking river would be ideal for family social time. Lovely kitchen & dining area. Lovely bedrooms and bathrooms. Host was very welcoming (but doesn't live on-site.)

Their wine was beautiful. Bought a couple bottles to bring home and had a couple during our stay.The room was big with ensuite and really comfortable bed. Good selection for breakfast.

In particular, I would like to commend our lead concierge/butler, Muhammad. We concluded that he is the most talented hotel professional that we've ever met, and a really nice human being!
