Set 1.5 km from the town of Koli, Kolin Lotus Cottages are located close to Lake Pielinen. These self-catering, semi-detached cottages have a children’s playground and BBQ facilities. In my 35 years of travel history, never have I ever come across such a super, fantastic and humane host - extremely helpful, always available, going out of his way to ensure the guests’ comfort, extremely informative (better than google and chat gpt) AND refuses to accept any gift or reward (monetary or anything)! Tino - you are the BEST! Thank you for the magical island boat ride - it was paradise!!! And if it were not for you, I would have totally missed seeing Koli’s best aerial view - Räsävaara Observation Tower!!! The best sunset and island views ever !!!
