Attentive turn down service. All staff are great and happy to help with anything. Pool area really nice and never an issue getting a lounger. Easy to walk to train/bus station if you want to do a trip to another town - Uzes, Arles, Avignon etc..Thoroughly enjoyed my relaxing stay and just a pity couldn’t stay longer.

Hotel de France is housed in a former coaching inn and is located on the edge of Mende’s town centre. The hotel is a 2 minute walk from Mende Cathedral.

Each room is equipped with air conditioning, a private bathroom and TV. The Comfort Room in the separate Villa des Jardins was beautifully appointed with a large comfortable bed, quality linen and comfortable chairs. Quiet and very clean. Easy distance from train station and centre. Very helpful manager and staff. Excellent service and food in the restaurant for dinner.

Guestrooms at the Hotel De La Clape are air-conditioned with an en-suite bathroom, TV and free Wi-Fi. This was a last-minute booking and we couldn’t of lucked out more! The place was beautiful. The breakfast for a small additional charge was fantastic as well! The staff was more than helpful and very friendly and we would definitely stay here again. The pool was lovely after a hot day on the beach or sightseeing to enjoy one of our wonderful purchased French wines that we bought that day. it has designated parking and is walkable to everything around the beach, all the restaurants, etc. Thanks Thierry!
