Evening meal at Castell deudraeth was exceptional , lovely food , great service , perfect views and ambience. Highly recommended.

The property was beautiful, spotlessly clean, wonderful facilities, comfortable! Couldn’t have asked for a better stay, perfect for a family get away.

With the majestic mountains of Cader Idris reflected in its waters, Tal-y-Llyn Lake is more than a scenic asset; the hotel owns the lake, which is noted for its superb fishing. Tynycornel was a well-known fishing hostelry as early as 1800 and guests enjoy priority access to Tal-y-Llyn's prized waters, together with fine river fishing. The location of the hotel was amazing, so picturesque. There are hiking trails close by or if you wish to be more laid back you can chill by the lake or in the community area of the hotel. I wish we stayed longer.

Easy parking, a lovely beer garden with well-tended flower pots, ambient (appropriate) music and new seating. The hotel room we stayed in was uber clean and smelt amazing and Namthip provides superb Thai hospitality and outstanding food! The full welsh break was superb.

The property is non-smoking and is located 35 km from Clarach Bay. I would definitely stay here again. Loved being right above the pub in such a pretty and quiet village. The room was very comfortable, great bed. The bathroom too was well designed and modern. Strong shower in particular. The breakfast was alright. The staff were so friendly and kind, I only wish someone had been knowledgeable enough to give me more recommendations about what to do in the area besides the obvious things.

The property is set 31 km from Llandudno Pier, 36 km from Bodelwyddan Castle and 36 km from Portmeirion. Free WiFi is available and private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. This is a very nice hostel. Very cosy and very comfy 24/7 facilities. It is possible to self check in at any hour, and there is basic food to purchase in the kitchen too at any hour - quite handy (tea, coffee, beer, oatmeal, instant noodle etc). The common area is very neat and nice - i spent quite a lot of time there, chilling after a hike, cooking and eating food and even working on my laptop. I stayed in a female only dorm, that has 6 comfy beds, and there were 2 toilets and 2 showers just for our room, so i never had to wait to have a shower etc. There are hair dryers available, and a whole separate drying room both for laundry and wet clothes after a hike. Beds were perfect, pillows were perfect, not creaky as in some dorms. With very good quality bedsheets and towels. Overall, if i am in betws y coed again, i will certainly stay in Gwersyll Cyntaf Eryri.
