We managed to see lots of amazing animals right from the bungalow terrace. Monkey, monitor lizards, birds, butterflies. Our bungalow was sea front, thanks to Robi who moved us after the first night. Very close to the bungalows is Olala restaurant, an amazing one, with a great terrace and view. It s like 50m away. We had hot water as well which I honestly didn't expect. Robi will help you with anything, motorbike rental at great prices, snorkeling equipment, snorkeling trips etc. I strongly recommend this place!

The staff is also full of beautiful human beings. Lisa will take care of everything. Take into account that communication in the island is a little difficult with the service providers. Lisa will make sure everything runs smoothly. I booked the dolphin tour but didn’t wait up on time. Lisa woke me up and of course I pretended I was awake already. I was wearing my tshirt up side down.. nobody in the tour or Lisa believed me.. Note: please don’t be cheap. I saw people training to bargain five euros.. please don’t. It is a hard business and you are getting a lot for your money. Be nice, respectful and generous . They work very hard

The entire resort is beautifully manicured with fruit trees and flowers everywhere. Everything here is done with intention and love. The staff take great pride in their work. Aceh Heritage Village: Right when you walk in, you'll see two beautifully restored historic Acehnese houses featuring hand carved and painted decorations. This is totally unique on the island, and it's a must-see. Sometimes there are events there, so check with the resort to see about the schedule. The restaurant: The restaurant is stunning with an inviting porch that reveals the ocean and the lush landscape. The food is delightful with a mix of Indonesian and Western options. I am gluten free with a sensitive stomach. The restaurant always accommodates my dietary restrictions, and I always feel good after I eat there! If you will be staying awhile, you can even bring your own gluten free flour, and they will prepare something special for you. I love the ayam tangkap (an Acehnese specialty that you can't find many places on the island) and tom yum. The rooms: Every bungalow is done in the traditional Acehnese style with wooden carved decorations. My bungalow had a porch with a hammock which was the perfect place to relax while watching the ocean and listening to the sounds of nature. The bed was comfortable. The shower had hot water and it was easy to control the temperature, which cannot be said of many showers on the island. There was also a fridge and water dispenser in the room including hot water and china cups. The spa: I have had some of the best massages of my life at the spa here. My favorite is the Javanese. Masseuses are expertly trained and accommodating with any issues you may have. Friends of mine have had waxing done with excellent results. The beach: Great for lounging and a gentle swim.

This beachfront property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. The homestay has family rooms. So many things to like. Location is great, away from the crowded village of Iboih, so quieter and sleeping with the gentle sound of the ocean was wonderful. The view of the sea from the bungalow veranda was pretty and a short walk down steep steps took you to the rocky foreshore from where we snorkeled. A good variety of reef fish, especially in the mornings, plus big clams and starfish. The coral around Sabang generally is not good compare to other parts of Indonesia (Karimunjawa, Flores) and fish stock was reportedly depleted during Covid when tourism stopped for 2 years. The bungalow was great with French doors opening wide to the verandah. We had a fan one rather than AC. There were nice touches, like a water fountain with hot water option to make coffee, tea and cup noodles, even a tea towel for the cups and plates, and a hot water shower. Very clean and well maintained. Wiggy was a helpful host, keeping us informed via WhatsApp of any events, and his lad assistant Riki was fantastic. Just down the hill there is a great dive shop Scubaholik rents snorkeling gear and will orangise and equip dive trips for those qualified to dive, snorkel and dolphin chasing trips from 2 to 20 pax.

Situated in Iboih and only 2.3 km from Iboih Beach, Apollo Bungalows features accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. This guest house provides air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace. Woke up to the sound of the ocean and stunning scenery. The area is peaceful, and the host is very kind. However, this is just basic accommodation. no hot shower and no breakfast provided. The view, though, is priceless. Please consider staying here if you’re looking for peace and tranquility, but if you prefer luxury, opt for a 5-star hotel instead.

The rooms are spacious and the views are stunning. It is possible to swim and snorkel from the small beach.

The resort has a range of water sports facilities. The location is incredible, and Momo is always making sure guests are well taken care of so we can make the most of our stay. The food is delicious, and Gema, Tina, and the entire team are absolutely wonderful! Can’t wait to come back as soon as I can!
