What I liked the most was that we could cook our own meals in the shared kitchen. It was really clean and well equipped felt almost like being at home. Another great thing was that we could rent scooters right on site. It made getting around super easy, and the prices were totally reasonable.

Room was large, new, and with a nice balcony and very good airco. The sound of the mosque did not bother me, its part of their culture you just need to accept it and go back to sleep if it wakes you up - I don’t think there are Many places in lubuan Bajo where you will not hear it. The girls at the coffee shop were very friendly as was Yogi at reception who was extremely helpful throughout my stay. Good secure (locked up) place to leave your luggage if you need to. They booked a very good day tour around Komodo national park for me before my arrival and there was good communication regarding this via whatsapp

Breakfast was fresh and delicious and the room was simple, clean and has everything you need. There's a restaurant across the road where I had a delicious outdoor dinner amongst other tourists and the Guesthouse is very close to the jetty and harbour for those indulging in the 17 Islands boat trips.

This guest house is allergy-free and non-smoking. Farila Lodge is a very nice place. A house with two rooms and a balcony in front. Everything is new and spacious, the bathroom is one of the nicest we had, the shower (hot) with good water pressure. It is not visible from the street as the hill below is very steep, so we were a little confused to only see a sign on the street and no building. But no need to worry. It is there. 😃 We also rented a scooter from them for a day which was quite new and worked fine. Breakfast is brought by a lady who has a small stand selling drinks and snacks right above the house on the street. We had a very tasty nasi goreng with fried egg there. On the first day there was a man to welcome us who spoke a little english and could give us information about laundry, where to eat... When he was gone there was no one speaking english, but the friendly lady from the stand sent us to the Rainbow Cafe just around the corner. They speak english, were able to organise ojeks, transfer to Maumere, do laundry (quite expensive, but clean).

The homestay has family rooms. I waited until the end of our trip to give my rating so I had a baseline for comparison. This place is very comfortable and the hosts are super nice people, with great English language skills. The breakfast and snacks they prepared were delicious and sumptuous.
