We were on the way to FCO to fly out to JFK and decided to visit L'Aquila the day before. It was very nice, quiet, clean place in the excellent location. There were fruits, bottle of water, milk, fruit drinks in the fridge & ice pops in the freezer! What a surprise & welcoming gesture! We loved L'Aquila and will come back to explore the area. This is one of the best places I have ever stayed at! We were there as a group of 7 young people and as you can imagine, we were very messy and loud, but the owners were very kind and friendly and didn't have problem with that. They cleaned the rooms everyday, even with the whole mess we were leaving after us. The breakfast had everything we needed and they were fine with any changes in the time to be served.
