Miyajima Guesthouse Mikuniya is a traditional Japanese-style guesthouse located on Miyajima (Itsukushima). It has a beautiful Japanese garden and a large living room, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Our friendly mascot cat will welcome you! The house and the facilities were amazing. I had to admit that I did not have the chance to enjoy them as they should due to my travel schedule, but next time I come to Japan on holidays I will spend at least a couple of nights here. Also the staff was very friendly.

The property is non-smoking and is located 28 km from Saikon-ji Temple. The stay was nice. We biked there and there were bike racks for bicycles. The common space was very enjoyable, they also have a free drink bar that provides coffee and tee; and even tho not from the dorm room, the view in the morning was really nice.

Owner was nice, room as advertised, comfortable bed, quiet neighbourhood, location convenient for Shimanami Kaido cyclists.

The staff are superb, the location is wonderful, I wish I had stayed longer. Perfect place to stay before biking the Tobishima Kaido.

Our stay exceeded our expectations, which were already high based on photos and reviews of the hotel. The staff gave us a wonderful welcome and provided all useful information we could need (in English) and were so helpful in arranging transfers to and from the ferry port. The facility is gorgeous and it is clear that a lot of thought went into the details, from the amenities to the decor and also in the guest experience. The onsens were also beautifully done and very relaxing. The food was excellent and most of it locally sourced. The Japanese breakfast was exceptional and we also had a great dinner at the hotel restaurant one night. Lastly, the staff were so friendly, helpful and accommodating. We had a very lovely stay and would stay again!
