Situé à Sado, l’établissement Rosencat possède une connexion Wi-Fi gratuite, un parking privé gratuit et un bain à remous. Hiroko-san has been so lovely and helpful in welcoming us and sharing with us the places to visit and eat. We visited all the sushi places she recommended for dinner and they are spectacular. She even helped us reserved the dinner at a local sushi restaurant for our last night and it was one of the best dinners we ever had. Her Guesthouse is super clean and spacious and the beds r so comfortable. And most of all the lovely cats that accompanied us. We miss them!

L’établissement Noka Minshuku Sanzen vous accueille à 24 km de ce lieu d’intérêt : Station de ski de Gala Yuzawa. This quirky house has been lovingly restored and updated by Nobu and her family who live next door. The amount and types of wood used in the construction of the house is incredible, from the wooden staircase and hand-crafted hand rail, to the curved wooden bathroom, giving the feel that you are inside a barrel. It includes the washing machine, a huge shower room and separate, very snazzy toilet. With all mod cons, we had a very comfortable week here. Even the futons were OK for this old, unaccustomed body. The bedroom is covered in beautiful, traditional tatami. The 3rd floor loft has a hammock and chairs with lovely views of the countryside, which you can also enjoy from the dining table downstairs. The kitchen is well equipped and basic condiments are provided (oil etc), so it was easy to self cater. The house has air conditioners upstairs and down as well as kerosene heaters so we were very cosy despite record amounts of snow. We parked directly out front and the watering hose did a good job keep the area clear of snow. The supplied snow shovel and brush were a life saver. Our host family were sweet, taking time to ensure we understood all the facilities and gave us gifts of local food.

Classic charming pension with the most friendly owners! The private onsen across the street is incredible, I had it to myself every night, and there is an option for breakfast. The room was perfect for two of us, and Papa was so kind to drive us to and from the Myokokogen station and the mountains, and also on some errands which was so kind. It feels like you are stepping into a place that can’t be created, a piece of personality.

Doté d'un accès skis aux pieds et d'un local à skis, le Belle Vue Nishiura est situé à Minami Uonuma, dans la région de Niigata, à 3 minutes à pied de la station de ski Ishiuchi-Maruyama. C’était super, de la gentillesse de l’hôte à l’emplacement en passant par le petit déjeuner délicieux ! Super séjour, encore merci, arigato gozaimasu !

Situé à Minamiuonuma, à 2 km de la station de ski Maiko Snow Resort, l'établissement Maruyama Onsen Kojyokan dispose d'une terrasse et d'un bain thermal. The room is cozy and the onsen is very nice. Most importantly, all staff were helpful especially when I lost my car key. They arranged a car to pick me back and on the next day, took me to find it. Luckily, it was found and I was so blessed to choose this ryokan. Highly recommended!

Le Yuzawa Grand Hotel se trouve à 2 minutes à pied de la gare d'Echigo Yuzawa et du musée du Saké. Il propose 3 bains publics, un service de massage et un parking gratuit sur place. This hotel has the best location , walkable from echigo station, and close proximity to many restaurants and nearby ski slopes. Hotel breakfast was good , wide spread. We tried their dinner buffet, it was very good too though little over priced. The best part was the onsen, loved the outdoor onsen in the snow, wasn’t too crowded. Morning was empty.

Situé au cœur de paysages paisibles, le Kogakuro propose d'agréables chambres de style japonais baignées de lumière naturelle. the owners and staff were so friendly and accomodating- they were amazing. Mieko was great - so easy to ask information from and she then made multiple bookings for us. location was perfect, facilities including Onsen, guest lounge and breakfast were great.
