The bathroom area is big too as I love the washing machine and dryer. The dryer is very efficient and powerful as it takes less time to dry the clothes as compared to other dryers. Open plan living worked well with a family of 4. Toiletries were abundant and of good quality. The owner and his wife were very hospitable. We accidentally switched off the water heater. After a long day out, we didnt have hot water. I sent a message to the owner and within 5 minutes he was at our door. Highly recommend this place!

We booked the traditional Japanese room and it exceeded our expectations tenfold. It was super spacious, comfortable and beautifully furnished. The host Hanneke was so lovely and helpful as well. I could have stayed for a month! Arita is a beautiful town well worth visiting if you have any interest in ceramics.
