Taking your shoes off at entree, sliding doors, gymnasium, kitchen. Amazing. Even more amazing was the staff. The explained every thing well, gave recommendations for food and travel. I even got lucky and hitched a ride back to Nakatsugawa, with a perfect pitstop at Hillbilly Coffee (highly recommend). I stayed here after walking Nakasendo Trail from Tsumago. Perfect place to stay after. Do not hesitate. Go here. Book!

熱海温泉　実の別荘 features a hot spring bath and free private parking, and is within 1.6 km of Atami Sun Beach and 27 km of Hakone-Yumoto Station. The property has sea and mountain views, and is 33 km from Shuzen-ji Temple. The guest house features family rooms. Close to 来宮駅 Kinomiya Station just next to Atami. I could walk to Kinomiya shrine from the hotel. Nice view from the room seeing birds and squirrel and I could see the Hatsushima Island. It is very peaceful atmosphere around this area. The Hotel was clean and a nice big size. Private spring bath was great! There was a large window in the lounge room morning sun shine straight through. Owner of this hotel was very kind and helpful. I am very happy to find this Hotel.

Private parking is available on site. Out of all the hotels I’ve stayed in in Japan, this one is by far the best. The room is very clean and fragrant, and has complete amenities in the kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. It even has a washing machine that is easy to use. I also love the balcony - it has a great view of the train station. The staff are really nice. They communicate and respond well to questions. They even offered me extra bottled water when I requested for more. One of them also helped me with my luggage delivery even though he was on his break. The hotel is in a perfect location, just beside the bus/train station. There’s a FamilyMart nearby and everything is a short walking distance away. I really got my money’s worth. I would definitely stay here again! I had a lovely time.

The accommodation features free shuttle service, full-day security and luggage storage for guests. It felt like a premium experience. The room was bigger than expected which felt good. The onsen had a lot of options such as a sauna and cold dip among more.

The property is allergy-free and is located 49 km from Gero Station. Absolutely perfect, the best hotel experience in our 3 week Japan trip! Only a bit negative side is that there is only japanese breakfast option, however taken all the other things into consideration, still 10/10 experience.

Rooms are slightly bigger than hotels in Tokyo and were great for our family of 5( includes baby). The view was exceptional. The breakfast was awesome, a bit of western to east items and again the view was great. We got Club Lounge access which I highly recommend, quality drinks and food items for the entire family. Location was exceptional with station connected to hotel and one stop from Nagoya station.

Effective October 1, 2025, a lodging tax will be introduced by ordinance of Takayama City. In addition to the room charge, 100 yen per person per day will be charged. Please pay in cash or by card upon check-in. Guests under 12 years old are exempt from the lodging tax. The people working there are both friendly, helpful and caring, it felt like they had a genuine intrest in their guests. The common areas are clean and cosy with a relaxed vibe, and when I was there the guests interacted with each other so you could get to know new people if you wanted to. The place was also in walking distance to both the bus station, old part of town and to a shopping mall with a proper supermarket. If you dont want to walk, there is a 7/11 right next door, or there is the possibility to buy food and coffee at the place. If I come back to Takayama I would choose to stay here again
