The Camp was very close to the Talek gate to Masai Mara Park - 1 minute walk :) 2. A camp itself was very comfortable - spacious, nIce furniture, good washroom; NO problems with hot water or electricity. Very pleasant soap/shampoo. We even had bathrobes :) it was a bit cold in the camp in the evening, but we had a nice warm blanket. 3. The food was delicious. My wife's limitations (no red meet) were satisfied completely. Most importantly, the staff in the ladge was extremely helpful. Our flight had been delayed, and we arrived to the lodge after 11 pm. We'd informed the manager and he organized a hot dinner for us no matter it was late.

Located in Talek, Talek Bush Camp, Masai Mara provides accommodation with seating area. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. Extra facilities include a 24-hour front desk, meeting rooms, a tour desk and housekeeping service. We greatly enjoyed our stay. Rooms were very comfortable and cleaned daily to a high standard. Hot water is available on demand or after 6pm. The location is the best thing about the camp, it is right next door to the entrance to the national park so you can get in right when it opens. The camp itself is also frequently visited by animals. We saw crocodiles, hippos, baboons, various species of deer and mongoose to name a few. The owner is friendly and responsive to your needs and even arranged transport to our next accommodation. As a bonus each meal was very delicious and they are flexible with what time you would like to eat. Overall, Talek Bush camp may be lacking some of the frills of the larger lodges but the underlying quality is very high. We felt more comfortable here than at our MUCH more expensive lodge in Amboseli.

Facing the Talek River, Mara offers elegantly furnished tents on raised platforms, and a terrace with a bar for spotting animals. All rates include 3 game drives a day, and return airstrip transfers.

Mara’s tents include a wooden, 4-poster bed surrounded by a mosquito net. All have a modern, private bathroom with a double vanity, shower, and flush toilets. Tea and coffee making facilities are in each. The tents were very nice and the staff was fantastic! Silas our driver was the best, couldn't have asked more from a safari experience!

The view was breathtaking, and the tent was very clean, comfortable, and beautifully set up. Special thanks to Chef Allan for the delicious meals, and to Lucia and Steve who were always so helpful and accommodating throughout our stay. Our game drives were unforgettable with Ken, an excellent driver who made sure we saw the Big 5! In Nairobi, John was also a great driver who took care of us very well. One of the highlights of our trip was the nature walk with Dickson – he was such a knowledgeable and engaging guide, making it an incredible experience. A huge thank you to NJ, a very patient owner who always responded to all my queries, and to Nick, who went above and beyond to ensure our safety and comfort, even checking in with us on our way home. Everything was so wonderful that we ended up extending our stay. We highly recommend Mara Hilltop Camp to anyone visiting the Masai Mara – you will not be disappointed!

From the very first email with Lea to Sammy and the team at the camp including our game drive guides, which we booked directly via Kobe Mara - again, a huge ASANTE SANA for making our Masaai Mara trip so memorable! The place is just utterly beautiful! Seeing a zebra, and giraffes right from our tent was such a wondrous experience. All the details of the tent were highly appreciated as well! It felt like being in a movie… Furthermore, the food - especially the fish on a bed of spinach cream and side of mash… It all tasted like “coming home”. You do have your own kitchen too if you prefer. The team on site are always there to help if anything. Easily one of our top favourite stays ever - Highly recommended! <3

The highlight was definitely the exceptional game drive, which was well-organized by Eti and the team at Beats of Beads, which gave us a fantastic chance to see the incredible wildlife up close. We highly recommend Beats of Beads to anyone visiting the Masai Mara. The location is perfect for easy access to the park, and the services are outstanding. We would definitely stay here again!
