The owner, Sahan, lived in Japan for 11 years. So he welcomed me. He hopes that many Japanese people will stay there. His family and friends are also very kind. This hotel is close to the ruins. You can rent bicycles. The rooms are clean and have air conditioning. The service is also good. If I come to Polonnaruwa again, I will definitely stay here again.Thank you so much for the two days.

The view was the most breathtaking we have ever seen— view of swimming monkeys, water buffalo, and countless beautiful birds was an experience we will never forget. The owner was amazing—so friendly and welcoming. He went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. He even brought us breakfast at 5 AM before our early morning safari, which was incredibly kind and thoughtful. We also highly recommend the cooking class hosted by his sister and niece. It was a fantastic experience, and we learned so much about local cuisine while enjoying a warm and friendly atmosphere. The Ekho lake house is an amazing space with the perfect location for visiting Pollonaruwa. It is immediately close to the ticket office, has a classic architecture perfectly suited to the lake and classical Sri Lankan / British style that has been maintained with love and attention. Tishan Holiday Resort is located in Bendiwewa in the region of Polonnaruwa. The archaeological area is 3.5 km away from Tishan Hotel. Hotel features a year-round outdoor pool and sun terrace. Everything was just perfect! Really recommend it.
