Located close to Dovre National Park, Dovregubbens Hall offers apartments in traditional Gudbrands style buildings in Vålåsjø. Oppdal is 49 km away. Everything! I was very late for check in due to a closed road for flooding and they wait for us and made me feel welcome. The room was very big and comfortable!

This hotel lies in the village of Dombås and overlooks the Dovrefjell Mountains. It offers free Wi-Fi, free private parking as well as cross-country skiing tracks and mountain hiking trails. Best spot. It's a hike but worth it. They looked after my bags so I could explore town. Food is great. Simple and great. I'd stay here again for sure. Takk!

Dovre Motelll lies close to the Dovrefjell Mountains, about 60 km from Rondane National Park. It offers free Wi-Fi internet access in all public areas and free private parking. Nice friendly welcome. The cabin was bigger than we expected. Everything you need is there including fresh sheets and duvet covers/pillow cases and towels. It's the first cabin we've had on our roadtrip that has included all of these. The cabin is fitted out in 70's style and I loved that. It's totally different! The bathroom/shower is big. The cabin is nice and comfy with a lovely view of the mountains and the river is steps away. We stayed in cabin 17 and it was pet friendly. The breakfast was your typical breakfast with eggs, bacon, cereals, toast etc etc so help yourself. We would definitely stay here again.
