We had a lovely stay at Tara’s guesthouse. Vicky & his team were so accommodating and provided us with lots of information about the town. We ended up booking our canoe & Jeep Safari with Taras guesthouse. The prices are competitive & it was comforting to know we were only supporting ethical operations. The room is basic but more than what you pay for. Overall we were very impressed.

The owner is super helpful and booked us multiple travel tickets and experiences which all where great for a really good price!! Would recommend booking experiences here. Bishnu and his family are simply delightful! From the room to the great Nepalese food, to the amazing animals and birds! What we saw from rhino's to the amazing birds and the garials were simply stunning!A lovely family which helped made it simply memorable!

The evening was filled with a Tharu dance cultural program whose venue is right next to the hotel. It was a memorable and pleasant stay for me in Sauraha.
