The location, the view and the restaurant is great. The rooms are clean and the AC is good. Breakfast is tasty. But the most important thing is that despite the bad weather we had, they helped us a lot, without the great staff, we would have stuck on the island because it wasn’t easy to find out which ferries were cancelled and which ones are not. They were informing us about all the details, and when the weather became better, they arranged us activities. Richard, the owner is awesome, he put a great team together. You feel like you are their most important guest, even when they are fully booked. This is not just a hotel, this is a resort when they are really there for you. Thank you everyone!! This is my second time at Riverside. I have met a lot of international travelers and made many new friends here. Everyone that I have met here comes back here because we all feel like we are part of a family when we stay here. Call it a home stay or your family home in the Philippines and that is what it has become for me. The home made Filipino Fusion food is superb, the staff super attentive and Madame Macrina is the best host mother you will ever have. The location is close to beautiful beaches and attractions. The neighborhood is super safe along with great surrounding views and too put it simply the value for your stay is awesome.

Throughout our stay he made sure we were happy and kept the purified water topped up for us to use.
