We booked a weeks stay and oved the villa and the location. João ( the resort owner) and the Reception team were very friendly and attentive and ensured our stay went well. The villa had high quality fittings throughout with some of the most comfortable hotel beds I've slept in. For horse lovers and riding enthusiasts, you can book personal riding classes on the resorts prized Lusitano horses. Our daughter loved her classes! Theres a llovely outdoor pool and jacuzzi too.A fabulous experience and we cant wait to come back when we are next in the Azores. :) Thank you.

There is a private entrance at the apartment for the convenience of those who stay. Guests can make use of the sun terrace or the picnic area, or enjoy views of the mountain and garden. Lucia is a fantatic home owner, she had everything organized for us, it felt like travelling back home and your mom is there to take care of you. She helped with everything we needed, she gave us all information to get to the right places and restaurants, she took care of literally everything. The house is clean, warm and had everything needed like if you are in your own house. We had a superior experience in this house like we never had elsewhere. Certainly a place I would recommend to anyone 150%!!!

We were completely satisfied with the accommodation. It’s very modern and well-equipped — we especially appreciated having a washing machine. The location is excellent, close to everything, and there’s free parking nearby. Instead of a key, we used a code to enter, and there was no in-person contact with anyone. Highly recommended!

The staff were wonderful, warm, welcoming and delighted to answer questions, offer services and suggestions, invite us to enjoy the evening fire, recommend activities etc. we thoroughly enjoyed everything about our time at Solar Dos Cantos.
