We only spent one night at Dar el Kif and we regretted it because we had a great time and the neighbourhood of La Marsa is lovely! The hotel is less than 15 minutes from a large beach, and within easy reach of Sidi Bou Said and Carthage. The hotel premises are wonderful and the rooms very spacious and clean. Hedi was very kind, helpful and makes a killer shakshuka! He also has a very sweet kitten who was a pleasure to play with :) if you want to experience a relaxing and pleasant stay, my partner and I highly recommend Dar el Kif!

It was a beautiful light filled and spacious property with views out to the Mediterranean. It had several sitting areas inside and out including by the lovely pool. We loved the generous breakfast and great coffee while enjoying the garden and sea views.

Situated on the beachfront, this property features an open-air bath, a garden and a shared lounge. The accommodation offers a shuttle service, while a bicycle rental service is also available. I stayed is Yasmin room. Small, but perfect. The sliding glass doors overlooking the veranda that looked out directly to the sea was breathtaking. The bed was AMAZING and oh so comfortable. The linens were clean and comfortable. Truly, had the best night sleep. And the daily breakfast was very nice too. The staff is friendly and always available to help you. I like that the hotel is small and quiet but within 10 minutes (by foot) you are in the heart of La Marsa with plenty of cafes and restaurants and shops.
