Lovely ambience, creatively decorated, relaxing garden and comfortable beds. The hosting g family is friendly and helpful with lots of advice. Breakfast was good and we enjoyed an evening meal there too.

The guesthouse is just 2 km from Dong Phu Dunes. Vinh Long City is 10 km away, while Cai Be floating market is a 30-minute boat ride away. Our stay was lovely! The family that runs the place is very kind. The restaurant offers a great river view and plenty of vegetarian options. The rooms are simple but clean, and the garden is beautiful, with many spots to relax. The boat tour around the river, which they organized, is highly recommended. They also arranged a bus for us to return to Saigon. Thank you so much!

I enjoyed my stay at Phuong Thao Homestay and on the beautiful island An Binh so much that I extended it to over 2 weeks!  The homestay manager, his wife and sister - who speak very good English - together with the staff are very friendly and accommodating. The homestay is located about 3 km from the ferry to Vinh Long (10 minutes by bike). Nestled within a spacious, beautifully planted garden with lots of hammocks where you can unwind. My room (14) was in a "stone house" and I felt very comfortable in it - it was very quiet there.  Every morning, I was looking forward to the fantastic breakfast - in addition to the daily omelette with bread, you get a plate with different fruits. But the very best part - the different mouthwatering sweets 😋 every day. And to top it all, I could enjoy a swim in the pool surrounded by the beautiful scenery of the lodge that belongs to the homestay. Together, it was a wonderful start to every day :) The island An Binh is a scenic paradise, and exploring it by bike from the homestay was an adventure in itself. Short ferry trips to neighbouring islands and towns add to the charm of this wonderful location. I had a truly memorable time on the island and at this homestay. Upon my next visit, I will undoubtedly choose Phuong Thao Homestay again.

Located around 41 km from Ninh Kieu Pier, the hotel with free WiFi is also 42 km away from Vincom Plaza Hung Vuong. The accommodation offers a shared kitchen, room service and luggage storage for guests. I had a balcony room, and this was far from an ordinary hotel room. Incredibly spacious room, with a proper balcony with complete privacy thanks to the roof below. The light on the balcony worked. (Not common in Vietnam). Very comfortable duvet and pillows. Big fridge, kettle, beers, soft drinks and noodles in the room (extra cost of course), but free coffee tea and some water. Proper desk in addition to a table and chairs. Superb WiFi. Big bathroom, where the washbasin was fitted in a dry end of the room, so you don't need to get wet if you only want to wash your hands and brush your teeth. Add to this, friendly helpful staff who spoke a bit of English and were excellent with Google translate when needed. I couldn't have wished for better. The Mekong Star was a star. They also had a coffee shop downstairs. Superb location very close to the bus station.
