Great location and excellent management from the top down. Food was excellent and the staff were fantastic. AC was cold, and the shower was hot. There are electricity issues in Cotonou at the moment but quickly resolved with the use of the onsite generator. Love it when you get the basics right !

We had a great stay at Germain's as a base to explore Ganvié. Christopher kept in touch with me before hand suggesting an itinerary to make the most of my stay. The options and pricing were really clear as well as the times. He made the transfers to and from Ganvié really easy. The staff were lovely. The food was great. It was a nice location outside the centre of town. Other hotels seemed more in the town where it was noisy. It's a unique experience and Germain's is the best place to do that.

A lot of effort was put into making this place feel nice, cosy and comfortable (which it definitely is) and the owners were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. There was also a fully-equipped kitchen with fresh water and coffee included in the price. And having AC in all the rooms definitely was a nice treat.

The location is easily accessible. It is a few meters away from the beach. Very quiet area though active. The small market is near. The manager is great and very attentive. The kitchen has all appliances and cooking is easy. a very beautiful place
