We would like to thank Big Tree Guesthouse – Naxi Old Style for an excellent stay. The owner speaks very good English and communicates easily through both WeChat and WhatsApp. He was always ready to help with anything we needed and provided us with useful information. The guesthouse is located in a quiet area right in the heart of Lijiang’s ancient city. The rooms are spacious and clean, the atmosphere is very pleasant, and the price is very reasonable. Since vehicles are not allowed inside the old city, someone kindly waited for us at the entrance and carried our luggage. At the end of our stay, as the room was not booked, the owner even allowed us a late checkout at no extra charge. We highly recommend this guesthouse!

Xiao Zhao was very accomodating! He braved the rain to come and pick us up and take us around! It was rainy so we stayed inside most of the time but the stay was comfortable!

The homestay enjoys a prime location, near the South Gate of Shuhe Ancient Town, with convenient transportation and a beautiful surrounding environment. The room environment is exactly to my liking, and it offers extremely high - cost performance. Both the service and facilities exceeded my expectations. The housekeeper warmly entertained us, was responsive to all requests and answered all questions, making us feel at home. There is a private parking lot, free charging piles, and a laundry room. There is an elevator on all four floors. The young men and women at the inn greet us warmly when we enter and leave, and they help us make travel plans to avoid tourist traps. The environment of the store is simply breathtaking. The stay experience was wonderful, and I highly recommend it!

Great location—within walking distance to Zhong Yi Market and Lijiang Old Town. The staff were very friendly, and the facilities were new and well-maintained. Excellent value for money. I’d definitely book again if I return to Lijiang. Also, there's an adorable and friendly corgi on the property!

The hotel is nestled in the heart of the old town yet remains a tranquil oasis. The rooms are spacious and immaculately clean, with amazing beds! The staff were incredibly helpful, even assisting me with planning a visit to Tiger Leaping Gorge. They were also very flexible, allowing me to easily book an extra night and join them for dinner.

The location of the inn is very good. It takes two to three minutes to walk into the ancient city, and there are also supermarkets and restaurants nearby, which is very convenient.
