We made a last minute decision to visit Germany for a night and experience the Aachen Christmas market. All the hotels close to the market were fully booked - so we booked Hotel Gloria, we knew it was 25 minutes by car away from the market, situated next to a freeway and in an industrial area, so our expectations were low. But it was GREAT! We didn't hear the freeway at all, the hotel helped us arrange a taxi to and from the market. There is a restaurant next door which served amazing cocktails! Breakfast was great for 9 euros, a typical German breakfast. We were also offered the best scrambled eggs! We loved making our own gourmet breakfast rolls and it was exactly as we expected! PLUS, pet friendly with a fee of 15 euros - totally reasonable!

Easy check in experience, very friendly and helpful staff, pet friendly hotel. Choice of fast food restaurants next to the hotel. The rooms were cozy, and the bathroom was very clean.     This was a 1-night stopover for our journey from the centre of France to Northern Germany! We arrived after a lot of driving hours to be shown to a very comfortable apartment in a beautiful, quiet location! Very friendly staff and after a smooth booking in were ablebto relax for a few hours and continue our journey the next morning! I am very happy to recommend this hotel and will book again if travelling that way!
