The couple who own the place were lovely and made an effort to communicate even though we can't speak german. The apartment is very clean and well equipped. Location was quiet, with a supermarket a 20 min walk away.

Terrific apartments, well fitted out, spacious. Lovely location with excellent supermarket next door. We had bikes so easy to get around. Fabulous outdoor BBQ area.

Silent Environment: The tranquillity of the villa is unmatched. Despite being located near a bustling area, the soundproofing ensured a peaceful and restful stay. Ideal for relaxation after a day of exploring. Cleanliness: The level of cleanliness was outstanding. Both the rooms and communal spaces were spotless, reflecting the staff's dedication to maintaining high standards. Affordable Rates: The pricing was more than reasonable, offering excellent value for the quality and facilities provided. This makes it a fantastic choice for budget-conscious travellers without compromising on comfort. Friendly and Helpful Reception: The staff at Villa Rathenow went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. They were polite, attentive, and always ready with helpful recommendations about the local area. Their warm hospitality truly stood out. Accessibility: The villa’s location is incredibly convenient. It’s just a short walk to the local market and within easy reach of the train and bus stations, making it an excellent base for exploring Rathenow and its surroundings. The villa itself, housed in a beautifully restored building from 1910, seamlessly blends historic charm with modern amenities. The well-equipped kitchens, spacious apartments, and additional features like a garden, terrace, and barbecue facilities enhanced my stay even further. Lovely pension by the water, managed by a great team - very helpful from booking time to check out. The room is simple but comfy, with a beautiful view on the lake. The breakfast is more than decent, and healthy-ish options are available. Bonus point for the decaf coffee. The pension's restaurant is excellent. You get a huge choice of fresh fish dishes that were all perfectly cooked. There are plenty of nice walks and bike rides around, but think about bringing a card game or two in case the weather gets bad. There's not much to do around if that's the case.
