It's a very charming restored castle. We stayed in a beautiful room with a very comfortable bed. The host is extremely friendly, and the French breakfast is super tasty. It's also a dog-friendly hotel.

Location & property size were perfect for my stay. It was a relaxing holiday in a quiet French village. The hosts, Natalie & Tony, made me very welcome & even shared an evening apero with me, which was lovely. There were lots of minor roads & tracks available for me to run/walk/cycle with my dog, Willow. Virtually traffic-free for most of my outings, which was great. The gite was perfect, with 2 bedrooms & an open-plan living area. My first impression was that it seemed larger & nicer than the booking.com photos on the site. The pool is 1.5m deep with a children's shallow pool to one side, making it ideal for travellers with a young family. Supermarkets, fuel & restaurants are a 7-minute drive away, which is ideal. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my 2-week stay here. I would definitely stay there again in the future & would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking to stay in the area.

    Loved the location and the communication sent before we arrived given advice on how to access. We were also given free eggs on arrival which was a lovely gesture. We used these for breakfast. They didn't advise us the price of breakfast so we left them 15 euros. Apparently the breakfast was 16; they kindly let us off the extra euro.

    Unique historic house in the centre of Champagne Mouton run by super-friendly couple and equally friendly pets. I had the smallest of the three current suites, which still comprised of a large bedroom and living room with attached bathroom and was very comfortable and excellent value. Plenty of on-street parking around. If you want to stay somewhere a bit different and with real character, this is your place.
